Greetings! Welcome
to the 2nd edition of our newsletter. We never thought that this
newsletter would see the light of day as we have been so busy here
at shiny towers working on our latest exciting project (see the
article below).

Whisky Galore! Film company chooses Shiny Cube to create site.
 56 years after the original classic British black and white
film was released, Whisky Galore Film Ltd. have decided it is time
for a remake. The film company teamed up with Shiny Cube to create
the site and we at Shiny Cube web design are delighted to play a
part in cinematic history.
The Whisky Galore site has been built entirely in flash and
contains 4 separate 'info panels' all of which are animated. The
opening film depicts the SS Cabinet Minister (SS Politician)
encountering a storm followed by the sound of the ship running
aground. After a short black scene a bottle is seen floating in the
water which then becomes the site navigation. As the site is
navigated the level of whisky in the bottle alters. A permanent
'cartoon' runs in the lower panel showing the basic storyline. We
tried to give the overall feel of the site a 'whimsical' flavour as
well as providing visitors with the information they need.The colour
scheme of the site was chosen as an homage to the original black and
white film (the new film will be shot in colour). Indeed there are a
number of images from the original film on the site together with
information concerning the true story of Whisky Galore. We are
currently creating a forum for the site so that Whisky Galore lovers
from around the world can discuss their passion for this unique
story. As the production progresses the site will be updated with
further information concerning the cast, location reports and
trailers etc. Bookmark this site and keep watching!
